    Eligible Nationalities:

    This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    The University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships are for international students pursuing a full-time Master’s degree starting in September 2024. In order to qualify you need to meet the following criteria:

    • International Students: You must be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes.
    • Master’s Students: You must be enrolled in a full-time Master’s program.
    • Self-Funded Students: You must be self-financing your studies.
    • Academic Achievers: You must have exceptional academic grades, meeting the minimum requirements for your country (listed previously).

    Here’s who cannot apply:

    • University of Sussex Students: You cannot apply if you’re already enrolled at the University of Sussex, except for those on the Chancellor’s Masters Scholarship (different program).
    • Specific Courses: You cannot apply if you’re enrolled in certain courses, including:
      1. Certificates and Diplomas (PGCE included)
      2. Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) courses
      3. Institute of Development Studies (IDS) courses
      4. Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
      5. Social work degrees (if receiving an NHS bursary)
      6. Online courses
      7. Schools Direct teaching courses
      8. Research council-funded Masters programs (e.g., ESRC 1+3 funding)

      Who can Apply?

      Only applicants who have already been accepted to a qualifying Master’s program at the University of Sussex are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

      How to Apply

      The scholarship application form will be available online starting on April 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Once you have received your offer of admission and confirmed your place in a qualifying Master’s program, you will be able to access and submit the scholarship application form.
