Bursary Description
The Mulilo Bursary Programme
The Mulilo Bursary Fund provides financial assistance to South African citizens resident in the Northern Cape and covers all disciplines and sectors of study at any tertiary institution in the country including universities, Technicons and TVET Colleges.
The Bursary includes tuition, accommodation, textbook allowance and a monthly stipend for the duration of successful studies.
Since inception the programme has graduated teachers, lawyers, medical doctors, and engineers to mention just a few. We are also an inclusive bursary programme, accepting applications from recent as well as past matriculants. The only proviso being that bursary recipients are under age 35 when they apply.
Typically, applications open from October for placement in January of the following year. Notification of the opening of applications takes place on our various communications platforms such as this website and Facebook page.
All shortlisted applicants must be available for a telephonic interview. After the telephonic interview, applicants still under consideration will be required to participate in a face-to-face interview before the final bursaries for that academic year are awarded.
Successful applicants are typically notified in the January of their study year.
