Eligibility Criteria:
You need to meet some criteria in order to be eligible for ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024 that includes:
- Open to candidates with a master’s degree or PhD in economics, statistics, or related fields
- Suitable postgraduate qualifications include agricultural economics, environmental economics, international economics, health economics, development economics, econometrics, and statistics
- Fellowship conditional upon successful completion of postgraduate degree if still studying at the time of application
Intellectual ability:
- Sound grasp of economic and statistical theory
- Ability to apply knowledge to real-world problems
- Data and information analysis for problem-solving
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication, especially translating complex ideas to non-specialists
Personal qualities:
- Resilience and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and political acumen
- Patience and humility to learn new contexts and accept advice
- Adaptability and flexibility in resource-constrained environments
- Management and work-related skills:Strong organizational skills, including task prioritization and delegation
