Bursary Description
Brandon University’s new financial awards management system is now live and open to receive award applications — providing a new and much easier way for all BU students to ensure they’ve applied for every award they’re qualified for.
The new system streamlines the award application process dramatically. Now, by filling out just a single application every year, in most cases students will be automatically considered for all of the financial awards offered by Brandon University. In the previous system, students were required to scroll through lengthy lists of awards to try to find and select the ones they qualified for. The new system also lets students review and accept award offers as well as submit donor thank you letters right in the awards management portal.
Although the system permits students to save and return to an application in progress as many times as they like before completing it and submitting, having a few things prepared in advance can help save time. Many awards consider financial need, for example, requiring details on expenses and income. More information about the application process is online at https://www.brandonu.ca/scholarships/apply/
