Scholarship Description:

MIS Scholarships 2025 for International Students in Malaysia is open for International Students . The scholarship allows PhD, Masters level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at Malaysia Universities . The deadline of the scholarship is Opening soon.

Degree Level:

MIS Scholarships 2025 for International Students in Malaysia is available to undertake PhD, Masters level programs at Malaysia Universities.

Available Subjects:

Following subject are available to study under this scholarship program.

    Scholarship Benefits:

    • Tuition fees for the whole sponsorship period will be paid
      directly to the university. 
    • Monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 per month.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Program of Study:

    Intend to enroll in a full-time postgraduate program (Master’s or PhD) at a Malaysian university.

    • Current Studies (Optional):

    If you are already enrolled full-time in a postgraduate program at a public Malaysian university or a selected private higher education institution, you may be eligible to apply. However, you must have a minimum of two semesters remaining before completing your studies.

    • Age Limit: 

    Be under 45 years old for Master’s programs and under 40 years old for PhD programs at the application deadline.

    •  Academic Achievement:

    Possess strong academic qualifications:

    • Master’s Applicants:

    Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or a Second Class Upper Honours (or equivalent) qualification.

    • PhD Applicants:

    Possess a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or have demonstrated excellent academic results in a Master’s program relevant to your intended PhD field.

    • English Language Proficiency:
    1. Demonstrate strong English language skills through one of the following:
    2. An IELTS score of 6.0 or higher.
    3. A TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 550 or higher.
    4. A previous degree where English was the primary language of instruction.
    • Research Proposal (Optional):

    Master’s by Research and PhD applicants must submit a written research proposal of at least 1,000 words relevant to their chosen field of study.

    Application Procedure:

    Required Documents:

    Prepare and upload scanned copies (in PDF format) of the following documents:

    • Passport: A certified copy of your passport (valid for at least 6 months) as proof of citizenship.
    • Academic Transcripts: Certified copies of your academic transcripts for:Undergraduate studies (and Master’s degree transcripts if applying for a PhD)
    • All coursework from previous programs
    • Grading System Explanation: If your transcripts don’t include information on CGPA, marks, or percentile scores, provide a certified document from your university explaining their grading system.
    • English Proficiency: Proof of English language proficiency through:Certified IELTS or TOEFL test results
    • Official letter from your previous institution confirming English as the primary language of instruction for your degree(s)
    • Letters of Recommendation: Two (2) letters of recommendation from referees.
    • University Admission Letter: (Optional) Provide an admission letter from a Malaysian university if you’re currently enrolled in postgraduate studies or have already secured admission.
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV): A document summarizing your education and work experience.
    • Research Proposal (Optional): Required only for applicants pursuing Master’s by Research or PhD programs.
