Bursary Description

The Visual Artists and Craft Makers Awards (VACMA), a funding stream of small grants, is now open to artists living or working in Argyll and Bute.

This includes activities such as mentoring and skills development, testing new ideas, experimenting with sustainable and renewable materials, purchasing necessary equipment, and residencies tailored to the artist’s creative and professional development.

Argyll and Bute Council, in support by CHARTS, alongside Creative Scotland, is keen to support local artists based across the region at all stages of their career by offering fixed bursaries of £500 or £1,000.

Along with the application, you are required to submit a CV and six examples of your recent work.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on February 4 and are to be submitted to info@chartsargyllandisles.org.

For more information about the VACMA bursary or to get an application form visit chartsargyllandisles.org.
