Dr. Iqbal Survé invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.
Bursary Application Closing Date: 30 November 2024
The Dr. Iqbal Survé Bursary, facilitated by Survé Philanthropies, offers financial assistance to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in Education, Health/Medicine, or Science.
Fields of Study
The bursary is available for first-year undergraduate studies in the following disciplines:
- Education
- Health/Medicine
- Science
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be entering their first year of tertiary studies in 2025 in one of the listed fields.
- Have been accepted to study at a recognised South African institution (college or university).
- Be from a previously disadvantaged background.
- Demonstrate passion, drive, and determination to excel in their field of study.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit clear and certified copies of the following documents:
- ID document or unabridged birth certificate.
- Matric mid-year results (if currently in Matric).
- Matric certificate (if Matric is already completed).
- Proof of registration at a university or technikon institution.
- Proof of parents’ or guardians’ income.
