Brief description:
The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence provide excellent international students with the opportunity to pursue one of the eligible Masters programs offered at ENS de Lyon.

All Masters Degree Progammes in Exact Sciences, the Arts or the Human and Social Sciences offered at ENS de Lyon (except FEADép Master’s programs).
ENS de Lyon also offers the GRADUATE + Scholarship (1,000€ per month for 10 months) for the best international students selected for a Master’s degree in the following Graduate initiatives and Master’s programmes, either in M1 or M2:
- • CORE (Conflits and Recompositions in a globalized World) : European studies, Advanced Economics
- • DynLifeSys (Multiscale dynamics of living systems) : Biosciences, Biosciences for modeling of complex systems
- • MathInfi (Mathematics, foundations of computer sciences and interactions) : application page
- • PACE (Physics, Astro, Chemistry, Earth) – M2 only : Physics & chemistry, Sciences of earth, planets and environment, Synthèse Organique et Chimie des Molécules Bioactives, Ocean, Atmospheric and Climate Sciences : M2 Ocean, M2 Atmosphere, Optics and Phototonics, Cosmology.

Scholarship value/duration:
The scholarship is €1,000 per month for 1 year. It is renewable in the 2nd year provided the candidate is selected by the head of the Masters program and validates the Masters Year 1.
Eligibility:
To apply for the first year of a Master’s program (M1), applicants should justify holding a L3 degree (Bachelor – 180 ECTS) or, for applicants who have studied abroad, an equivalent level.
To apply for the second year of a Master’s program (M2), applicants should justify holding a M1 degree (240 ECTS) or, for applicants who have studied abroad, an equivalent level.
