Who Can Apply?

Tronox KZN Sands is looking for keen South African citizens who are currently in their 3rd or 4th year of studies. A super important requirement is that you need vacation work to fulfil your course requirements – and you’ll need to provide proof of this from your university!

Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
Mechanical Engineering
Metallurgical Engineering
Mining Engineering
Chemical Engineering (Mineral Processing)
Mining Surveying

Heads-up: If you’ve already participated in a Tronox Vacation Work programme or are currently registered with any SETA, you won’t be considered this time. Also, incomplete or late applications won’t make the cut, so be sure to get everything in on time!

Tronox also prioritizes applicants from specific local communities to support talent development in their operational areas. Preference will be given to students from these Traditional Councils and Municipalities:
