The Tronox KZN Sands Vacation Work Programme is designed to offer South African students invaluable practical work experience in a real-world mining and processing environment. This temporary, two-month programme runs from December 2025 to January 2026 and is based at Tronox’s operations in Empangeni and Mtunzini, KwaZulu-Natal.

Who Can Apply?

Tronox KZN Sands is looking for keen South African citizens who are currently in their 3rd or 4th year of studies. A super important requirement is that you need vacation work to fulfil your course requirements – and you’ll need to provide proof of this from your university!

Heads-up: If you’ve already participated in a Tronox Vacation Work programme or are currently registered with any SETA, you won’t be considered this time. Also, incomplete or late applications won’t make the cut, so be sure to get everything in on time!
