The VKB Group Bursary is designed to support students pursuing degrees in high-demand fields that are crucial to their operations. If you’re studying or planning to study one of these, you could be funded:

- Agricultural Economics with Risk Management (BCom) / Agricultural Economics (BSc)
- Chartered Accountancy (BCom)
- Economic Sciences specialising in International Trade (BCom) / Logistics and Supply Chain Management (BCom) / International Supply Chain Management (BCom)
- Forensic Accountancy (BCom)
- Industrial Psychology (BCom)
- Information Systems / Information Technology Management / Informatics / Business Informatics / Technology / Data / Data Science (BCom)
- Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems (BSc) or Information Engineering / Data / Data Science (BIT / BEng)
- Investment Management (BCom)
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management (BCom)

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this fantastic opportunity, make sure you tick all these boxes. Missing any could mean your application won’t be considered:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must have completed Matric or currently be in Matric.
- You must be studying or planning to study towards one of the qualifications listed above in 2026.
- You must be studying or intending to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- If you’re currently in Matric, you need an overall average of at least 70% in Matric.
- If you’re currently studying, you need an overall average of at least 60% in all your major subjects.
- You must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans (both speaking and writing).

- Certified copy of your ID document
- Your latest Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- A passport-sized photo of yourself
- Your Grade 11 final results AND latest Matric results (if you’re currently in Matric)
- Your Matric certificate (if you’ve already completed Matric)
- Your full academic record, including current year results (if you’re currently studying at tertiary level)
Heads up: Shortlisted candidates will usually hear back within 30 days after the closing date. If you don’t hear anything by then, it’s safe to assume your application wasn’t successful this time.
