- Eastern Cape Provincial Office: 20 Shoreward Drive, Baywest, Port Elizabeth (1 position)
- Eastern Cape Provincial Office: Ndwendwe Lodge, Flagstaff (1 position)
- KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Office: 58 van Eck Place, Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg (2 positions)
What Does It Cover?
This bursary (internship) isn’t just about gaining experience; it comes with some sweet perks:

- A 12-month full-time appointment providing invaluable practical experience.
- Hands-on involvement in Project Management and Civil Engineering within a leading national agency.
During your 12 months, you’ll be an integral part of the Engineering Team, providing crucial administrative support and learning the ropes. Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with project administration across various projects.
- Attending and contributing to project meetings, and taking minutes like a pro.
- Helping Project Managers with tender documents and preparing presentations.
- Supporting Supply Chain Management (SCM) with technical corrections.
- Managing documents on SANRAL’s internal systems (EDMS / OpenText).
- Ensuring project information is accurate for audit compliance.
- Handling document profiling, correspondence, agendas, and reports.
- Even assisting with travel arrangements for Project Managers (local and international!).
- Ultimately, you’ll develop a deep understanding of how SANRAL operates and contributes to South Africa’s infrastructure.
Just a heads-up: standard employment reference checks will be conducted, and appointments will be made according to SANRAL’s Employment Equity plan.
