- You need to show proof of application and admission to an accredited South African institution of Higher Education (University / University of Technology / College) for 2026, making you eligible for funding.
- You must be entering your first year of post-matric study in 2026.
- You should be pursuing full-time studies towards an academic diploma or degree.
- You must be a youth aged between 18 and 35.
- If you are currently registered at a Higher Education Institution, you must have a 100% pass rate (meaning you’ve passed all courses you registered for in any completed study periods).
