Who Can Apply?
One World Media is looking for mid-career filmmakers and journalists from the Global South. If you’re working in film, print, audio, photography, or multimedia, and you have non-fiction stories that are creative and engaging, they want to hear from you!
Here’s what they’re looking for:
- Mid-career filmmakers and journalists from the Global South.
- Individuals looking to develop their existing career reporting on the Global South.
- Those who aim to raise awareness and break down prejudices with integrity and creativity.
- A strong focus on the integrity and creativity of your story, your ability to access subjects, your capacity to deliver the story, and how you would benefit specifically from this Fellowship.
They will select 10 Fellows this year, including those awarded special grants in partnership with media outlets.

- A reporting grant ranging from £1,000 to £3,000.
- Dedicated mentorship and an Executive Producer for your project.
