NYDA
The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), in collaboration with the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA), has announced a 12-month learnership programme for unemployed South African youth aged 18 to 35. This initiative focuses on the Automotive Industry, specifically in Car Parts Sales and Marketing, and culminates in a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 4 certificate.
Programme Overview
This learnership is designed to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the automotive sector. By integrating classroom instruction with on-the-job training, learners will gain comprehensive insights into car parts sales and marketing, preparing them for potential employment in the industry.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years.
• Possess a certified Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Be currently unemployed and not engaged in any other learnership programme.
• Be available for the full duration of the 12-month programme.
• Ensure all certified documents are not older than six months.
Application Process
Interested candidates should submit their applications by 22 May 2025. Applications can be sent via email to apprenticeship@nyda.gov.za or through the NYDA’s ERP portal at https://erp.nyda.gov.za/jobs. Late applications will not be considered.

The programme encourages applications from youth residing in the following provinces:
• North West
• Eastern Cape
• Western Cape
• Gauteng
• Limpopo
• Northern Cape
• KwaZulu-Natal
• Free State
• Mpumalanga
