What Does It Cover?
This Motheo Academy Bricklaying Apprenticeship Programme is a comprehensive, full-time journey over three years. You’ll get the best of both worlds: theoretical knowledge in the classroom and essential practical training right on the construction site. The goal? To equip you with all the skills needed to excel in the industry.
Upon successful completion, you’ll earn a prestigious Red Seal qualification in Bricklaying, recognised throughout South Africa. Plus, to help you focus on your training, a monthly stipend is provided. The training takes place at Motheo Academy in Gauteng Province, setting you up for a fantastic career.
Who Can Apply?
Think this sounds like your kind of opportunity? Here’s what you need to qualify:
- You must have a certified Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and English (certification must be within the last 3 months).
- You need a certified N2 Qualification in Bricklaying (certification must be within the last 3 months).
- Submit a certified copy of your ID (certified within the last 3 months).
- Include a detailed CV with all your personal, educational, and contact info.
- You must be 35 years old or younger.
- Be ready and willing to travel within the Gauteng region when required.
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You need to reside in the Gauteng province.
- Be prepared to work in the construction or built environment industries throughout your apprenticeship.
