Who Can Apply?

  • You must be a South African citizen, aged between 18 and 35 years.
  • You need an NQF Level 6 to 8 qualification in any field. Yes, any field!
  • A valid driver’s license is a must.
  • You should be computer literate.
  • You need your own working smartphone for data collection.
  • Proficiency in both English and IsiZulu is essential.

  • An NQF Level 8 qualification will give you an edge.
  • Prior data collection experience is a big plus.
  • Being able to drive independently is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital data collection tools will really make you stand out.

Essential Skills MKRI is Looking For:

What you’ll be doing as a Research Data Collector:

  • Verifying and cross-checking all collected information.
  • Strictly following ethical standards and research protocols.
  • Providing regular progress updates to your supervisors.
  • Representing MKRI professionally within communities.
