Who Can Apply?
Mogale City is looking for bright, motivated young people to join this programme. Here’s who they’re looking for:
- You need to be between **18 and 35 years old** and currently **unemployed**.
- Got your **Grade 12 certificate**? Awesome! Make sure it includes **Mathematics** (Pure Maths or Maths Literacy).
- This is specifically for residents of the **Mogale City Local Municipality** – and yes, you’ll need proof of residence from your Ward Councillor.
- No criminal record, please!
- You must be a **South African citizen**.
- Heads up: If you’re already on another SETA programme or receiving NSFAS funding, this one isn’t for you. Also, if you have an N6 qualification, you shouldn’t apply.
Mogale City is all about empowering everyone, so if you’re from a **previously disadvantaged background** or a **person with a disability**, you’re strongly encouraged to apply!
What Does It Cover?
This learnership is a full-on 12-month programme that will get you certified with a **Plant Production Learnership (NQF Level 3, ID 49052)**. You’ll dive deep into practical and theoretical skills related to agriculture, tourism, environmental studies, and horticulture.
