They’re looking for passionate individuals to join their 12-month Traffic Learner Officer Learnership Programme for 2025. Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this exciting learnership, you need to tick a few boxes:

  • You must have a Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.
  • Hold a valid Code B driver’s licence (this means manual transmission, so get practicing if you’re not used to it!).
  • Have no criminal record – honesty and integrity are key here.
  • Keep it professional: You should have no visible tattoos that could be considered contrary to professional conduct.
  • Be physically fit! You’ll need to submit a medical certificate proving you’re fit for strenuous exercise.
  • You must not be declared unfit to possess a firearm (as per the Firearm Control Act, 2000).
  • Be prepared to work shifts – traffic never sleeps, so you’ll be working 24/7, including weekends and public holidays.
  • You must be a South African citizen with valid proof of ID.

On top of these, you’ll need to be able to drive a motor vehicle and have good verbal and written communication skills. Essentially, they’re looking for dedicated, responsible, and communicative individuals ready to hit the road!

What Does It Cover?

While this is a learnership, it comes with a fantastic benefit: a stipend! You’ll receive R67,675.56 per annum, which works out to over R5,600 per month. This stipend will help cover your living expenses while you gain vital skills and work experience over the 12-month programme. It’s a great way to earn while you learn and build a solid foundation for your future career!
