Are you an enthusiastic individual living with a disability, looking to kickstart your career in retail sales? A leading company is offering an exciting Learnership opportunity for an In-store Sales Consultant.

About the Learnership

This Learnership program is designed to provide comprehensive training and practical experience as an In-store Sales Consultant. You will learn valuable skills in customer service, sales techniques, and retail operations, helping you build a solid foundation for your career. While primarily based in East London, there may be opportunities nationwide.

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• You must be between 18 and 34 years old.
• You must have successfully completed Grade 10, Grade 11, or Grade 12.
• You must NOT have completed any prior related learnerships.
• You must NOT currently hold an NQF Level 3 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
• You must have a clear credit record.
• You must be available to start immediately and commit to daily attendance.
• You must be living with a disability as outlined below:

Eligible Disabilities:

1. Developmental Disabilities (as per SARS ITR DD Form):

• Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Epilepsy

2. Physical Disabilities (as per SARS ITR DD Form):

• Amputations
• Club Foot
• Any noticeable physical disability

3. Visual Impairments:

• Blurred Vision
• Blindness in one eye
• Cataract
• Colour Blindness

4. Hearing Impairment:

• Hearing Loss
• Meniere’s Disease
• Tinnitus
• Individuals living with Albinism

5. Mobility Impairment (as per SARS ITR DD Form):

• Arthritis (including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis)
• Paralysis
• Stroke
• HIV/AIDS

Your Responsibilities as an In-store Sales Consultant

As a Learnership participant, you will be involved in:

• Assisting customers with product inquiries and selections.
• Providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
• Learning and applying effective sales techniques to achieve targets.
• Maintaining a neat and organised sales environment.
• Working collaboratively with the sales team.
