Are you a hands-on IT professional looking for a dynamic role? We’re hiring an IT Field Technician to join our team in East Rand. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for keeping our clients’ IT infrastructure running smoothly and securely by providing on-site support.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and maintain computer hardware and software at various client locations.
• Quickly diagnose and fix technical problems to ensure minimal disruption.
• Perform regular maintenance and software updates on systems.
• Offer technical support and guidance to end-users, helping them with their IT needs.
• Travel frequently to different client sites within the assigned regions.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and manage inventory.
• Uphold company standards of honesty and integrity at all times.

What You’ll Need: Requirements

• Reliable Transport: Own a personal vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop for daily use.
• Tech Savvy: Strong computer skills, comfortable with various operating systems and software.
• Travel Ready: Willingness to travel often within the East Rand area.
• Trustworthy: Ability to pass regular honesty and drug-free polygraph tests.
• Problem Solver: Excellent skills in identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Good Communicator: Clear and effective communication abilities.
• Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in IT support or field service roles is a plus, but not essential.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical certifications are a bonus!
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
