Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Field Technician to join our team in East Rand. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and systems at client locations.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Field Technician will be responsible for:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software at client sites.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Conducting routine maintenance and system updates.
• Providing technical support and training to end-users.
• Traveling to various client locations as required.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of work performed and inventory.
• Complying with company policies, including honesty and integrity standards.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Own a reliable personal vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.
• Have strong computer literacy and familiarity with common operating systems and software.
• Be willing to travel frequently within assigned regions.
• Be able to pass regular polygraph tests regarding honesty and drug-free compliance.
• Have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Technical certifications are a plus.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours if needed.
