In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our clients’ IT systems run smoothly and securely by providing essential on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software at various client locations.
• Swiftly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system updates to keep IT environments secure and efficient.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use their systems.
• Travel regularly to different client sites as required within the assigned regions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and manage inventory records.
• Comply with all company policies, upholding high standards of honesty and integrity.

What You’ll Need (Requirements)

• Ownership of a reliable personal vehicle, a mobile phone, and a laptop.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with common operating systems and software applications.
• A willingness to travel frequently within Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Ability to pass regular polygraph tests concerning honesty and drug-free compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Prior experience in IT support or field service roles is beneficial, but not strictly mandatory.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Technical certifications are a significant advantage!
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
