Systems Accountant (1 year FTC)

Capitec Bank Ltd is seeking a qualified Systems Accountant to join their team in Sandton.

Purpose Statement

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing key accounting functions that enable and support an accurate financial status of all systems across the business. The role requires contributing to the excellence and financial integrity of all systems in an efficient and timely manner.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2 – 3 years reconciliation experience

Qualifications

The minimum qualification required is a relevant qualification in Accounting – Financial Accounting or Finance.

Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate should have knowledge of:

• Management of Accounts
• Computerised accounting systems and principles (SAP)
• Financial Analysis and Interpretation

The ideal candidate should also possess:

• Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
• Problem solving skills
• Analytical Skills
• Attention to Detail
• Communications Skills
• Numerical Reasoning skills
