Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Our client in Edenvale, Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Co-ordinator with4-5 years of experience in the Manufacturing/FMCG sector.

Minimum Requirements

A Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Management, Logistics, or a related field is required, along with4 years of experience in a Supply Chain or logistics environment.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing sales orders on the system
• Uploading orders to the external warehouse order fulfillment system
• Ensuring stock is allocated and rotated according to agreed standards
• Supporting the sourcing of new suppliers and growing relationships with current suppliers to achieve savings
• Identifying and driving opportunities for improvements in service and cost reduction
• Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of backorders and resolving queries
