Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social work. Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker. Knowledge of the legislative framework for health social work, other public service legislation, policies and procedures pertaining to Social Work Profession and Gauteng Department of Health. Knowledge in all methods of social work is required. Experience in community mental health Social Services will be an advantage. Applicant must be in possession of a valid South African driver’s license.

Duties

The duties are as per the requirements, with a focus on promoting social and mental well-being.
