Key Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking, finance, or development sectors
• Proficiency in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and financial modelling
• Comprehensive understanding of lending operations
• Experience managing multi-party stakeholder groups
• Familiarity with regional dynamics, including Southern Africa’s economic landscape
• Fluency in Portuguese is essential

Key Duties

• Identify, appraise, negotiate, and approve public sector loans and investment projects
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to strategy development for public sector operations
• Coordinate with internal divisions to ensure alignment with institutional goals
• Participate in establishing and expanding business relations
• Provide expert input into policy implementation
• Deliver regular reporting on activities and project pipeline status

• Strong diplomatic acumen and outstanding communication skills
• Proficiency with standard computer tools and adaptability to new systems
