SAP HCM Business Analyst

About the Role: SAP HCM Business Analyst

As an SAP HCM Business Analyst, you will be crucial in aligning business needs with system capabilities to drive HR process optimisation and digital transformation. You will work closely with HR teams to understand their requirements, map current processes, perform detailed analysis, and design scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions. Your prior experience with SAP HCM or SuccessFactors is essential for effectively navigating and improving Capitec’s existing HR systems landscape.

What You’ll Need (Minimum Requirements)

Education:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis.
  • Formal qualification or a Business Analysis diploma.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of proven working experience as a Business Analyst, capable of handling a wide variety of situations, contexts, and complexities independently.
  • Proven experience working in HR environments and a strong understanding of HR processes.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in HR systems, particularly SAP HCM or SuccessFactors.
  • Previous experience with Oracle HR systems will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in functional and business process design.
  • Ability to communicate and translate information effectively across business and technology environments (acting as an interface).
  • Experience in designing evidence-based best practice solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of Project Management principles and relevant development lifecycle experience.
  • Experience with Agile development lifecycle principles.
  • Good understanding of systems and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Internal candidates: Completion of BA School of Learning Level 4.
