Rotary Peace Fellowships 2025-2026 Announcement

Rotary Peace Fellowships for the 2025-26 term are currently accepting applications until May 15, 2024. These fully funded opportunities offer master’s degrees and professional development certificates in peace and development studies at renowned partner institutes like the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, University of Bradford, and others.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship is a beacon of hope for aspiring leaders globally, empowering them to be effective catalysts for peace by covering all academic and living expenses. About Rotary Peace Fellowship and Foundation

Since 2002, Rotary Peace Centers have been forefront in peace and development education, shaping over 1,700 fellows from 140+ countries. Alumni have made significant contributions in governments, NGOs, academia, peacekeeping, law enforcement, and international organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank.

The Rotary Peace Fellowship offers two paths:

  1. Master’s Degree Programs: A 15 to 24-month academic study focusing on peace and development issues, complemented by a two- to three-month self-designed field study.
  2. Professional Development Certificate Program: A one-year blended learning program for working professionals, offering practical peace-promoting skills, culminating in a post-graduate diploma.

Fully Funded Fellowships for Future Leaders

The Rotary Peace Fellowship targets individuals excelling in their fields, committed to community service, international service, and peace advocacy. Each year, up to 50 master’s degree fellowships and 80 certificate studies fellowships are awarded, covering tuition, fees, room and board, transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.

Eligible Nationalities:

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Rotary Peace Fellowship 2025-2026:

  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • For Master’s program, a bachelor’s degree is mandatory; for the certificate program, a minimum of five years of relevant full-time experience.
  • Strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Alignment of personal peace promotion plan with Rotary’s mission.
  • Meet specific requirements of the chosen university program.
  • For Master’s: Minimum three years of relevant experience post-recent degree.
  • For Certificate: Experience in peacebuilding or development fields.
  • Not currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs.
  • At least a three-year gap between the most recent academic degree and the fellowship start date.
  • Encouragement for applications from individuals with disabilities and diverse backgrounds.
