Retail Sales Manager (Pretoria)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing staff, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

The Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for:

• Allocating sales targets and ensuring they are achieved
• Managing staff effectively, inspiring, motivating, and developing them to drive sales and excellent work performance
• Maintaining work procedures and holding staff accountable for meeting standards
• Providing daily reporting on sales to staff and management
• Ensuring all employees have ongoing training and development, including excellent product knowledge

Requirements and Skills

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Matric Senior Certificate
• Good computer skills (Excel, Email)
• Effective communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
• A proven record of exceeding sales targets and at least5 years of previous management experience
• The ability to establish good working relationships and work well in a team
• A valid driver’s license and own transport
• Basic HR knowledge and the ability to remain calm under pressure
