Job Summary

The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is seeking a Research Officer to join the Centre for Innovative Education & Communication Technologies (CIECT).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on emerging technologies and global trends in interactive learning environments.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and global trends in higher learning institutions.
• Contribute to research on online design evaluation processes, access, navigation, utilization, reliability, and functionality of eTools within the LMS.
• Meet research deadlines and communicate effectively with the CIECT Director.
• Assist with eLearning conferences, colloquia, and seminars/webinars.

Minimum Requirements

A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) with four (4) years relevant experience in research related to improving teaching practices, online teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
