Requirements

Registration with the HPCSA as an independent Radiographer in Radiation Oncology. Appropriate qualifications that allow registration with HPCSA as a Radiographer. 4 years of experience as a Radiographer after registration with HPCSA. Knowledge of radiotherapy standard techniques, protocols, equipment, and accessories.

Duties

Undertakes all basic radiation planning and treatment preparation. Treats patients according to departmental protocols. Participates in academic activities. Responsible for localization planning and accurate delivery of radiation treatment.
