Project Manager (Mpumalanga and Limpopo)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee technology projects in Mpumalanga and Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project planning, delivery, risks, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing project planning and delivery
- Managing project risks and issues
- Ensuring effective budget control
- Managing and supporting project team members
- Effective management of quality and processes
- Effective reporting and stakeholder management
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Senior Certificate
- A Project Management Certification
- PMBOK or Prince 2 Certification
- Agile methodology knowledge (non-negotiable)
- A relevant IT qualification (added advantage)
- 5 years’ experience in managing technology projects (ICT – Cabling, VOIP, UC, CCTV, Server Rollout, Security Projects)
Competencies
The successful candidate should possess:
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- A deep understanding and experience of IT Project Management methodologies
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Proactive Risk and Issue Management skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities
- Good communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
