Project Manager

About the Role

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple steel-related projects. You will be instrumental in managing stakeholder relationships, driving project governance, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This position requires strong leadership skills and a proven track record in complex project environments.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Manage the complete lifecycle of various steel-related projects from initiation to closure.
• Oversee and nurture stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Lead project meetings effectively and develop comprehensive project dashboards for clear tracking.
• Monitor and report on project performance regularly, ensuring transparency and proactive communication with all relevant parties.
• Establish robust project governance frameworks, prioritize initiatives, and implement industry best practices.
• Continuously review and improve project delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with business leads to define project scope, key milestones, and critical deliverables.
• Track project progress diligently, prepare detailed status reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Coordinate diverse cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Ensure all projects are delivered successfully on time, within budget, and with minimal associated risks.

What You’ll Need (Requirements)

• A relevant B. Degree, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification (Essential).
• A Project Management diploma or certificate (Essential).
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in project management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrable experience within the Engineering, Steel, or Mining industries.
• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional, and strategic projects.
