Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in and support the primary goals and objectives of the Faculty and the Department in pursuit of this vision and strategic objective.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the various sub-disciplines and modules that constitute Public Law.
  • Supervise postgraduate students, in their dissertations and theses.
  • Conduct and publish research in local, international, accredited journals, book chapters, books and monographs in the field of Public Law.
  • Take on administrative and committee roles within the Faculty Law and Department of Public Law, the broader University of Johannesburg (UJ) when called upon.

Minimum Requirements

A doctoral degree in Public Law and at least 5 or more years’ lecturing experience in the discipline of Public Law.

Candidates may be subjected to appropriate psychometric testing and other selection instruments.
