About The Role/Team

Join a purpose-driven data team that supports Capitec’s growing insurance business. We’re looking for a Data Engineer passionate about clean, efficient data solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting and optimising financial sub-ledger data pipelines.
• Migrating data processes to the cloud (AWS & Snowflake).
• Collaborating with SDMs, finance teams, and business stakeholders.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include

• Designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines.
• Writing complex SQL queries.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting data workflows.

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone curious, proactive, and solution-driven with3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.

To succeed, you should have strong SQL proficiency, experience with AWS and Snowflake, and excellent problem-solving skills.
