Process Analyst (Stellenbosch)

About the Role

As a Process Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions that support Capitec Bank’s strategic vision. Your main focus will be to analyze, improve, design, and implement end-to-end business processes. The goal is to boost efficiency, increase productivity, and ensure that all new or updated processes meet internal standards and comply with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop innovative business process solutions.
• Analyze, improve, design, and implement end-to-end business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure all new or improved processes and procedures adhere to internal standards and comply with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Six Sigma (Green Belt), Information Technology (IT), or Engineering.
• Foundation: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
• Experience:
  • At least 3 years’ proven experience in analytical or business improvement roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics, business process design, system process design, development, and implementation.
  • Experience applying Six Sigma, Lean principles, or Agile methodologies in a process improvement context.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in client experience improvement, including identifying root causes, developing action plans, and measuring success.

Ideal Requirements:

• Education: A relevant post-graduate qualification in Business Analysis, IT, or Engineering.
• Experience:
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in designing, maintaining, supporting, and implementing banking processes and procedures.
  • Experience in strategic business case development, business model design, and implementation.
  • Knowledge and application of Six Sigma, Lean principles, Theory of Constraints (TOC), and Agile ways of working.
  • Project Management skills to oversee improvement initiatives.
  • Management or leadership experience.

• You must possess a valid driver’s license and have your own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work from Capitec’s Stellenbosch office, and the Client Engagement Centre (e.g., Bellville) when required.
