The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Our Finance Department aims to provide world-class financial education and scholarship, promoting financial literacy. We are looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Finance to join our Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP).
About the Role
As a Lecturer in Finance within the Extended Curriculum Programme, you will be based in the Department of Finance. Your main responsibility will be to teach foundational modules focused on quantitative and analytical finance for commerce, investment, and corporate finance within the ECP.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning at an undergraduate level, particularly in quantitative skills for finance and commerce.
- Conduct research and publish your findings in quantitative and analytical finance.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Provide academic leadership and undertake administrative tasks.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assessment processes.
- Participate in community engagement and outreach activities.
Minimum Requirements
- A Master’s qualification or an equivalent degree in Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of extensive experience in facilitating learning within the Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP), specifically in quantitative skills for finance and commerce.
