Lecturer in Finance (Extended Curriculum Programme) – internal only – (2152)

The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is seeking a Lecturer in Finance for the Extended Curriculum Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating learning, conducting research, and providing academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning at undergraduate level in quantitative skills for finance and commerce
• Conduct research and publish in quantitative and analytical finance
• Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate supervision
• Provide academic leadership and administration
• Undertake curriculum development and assessment
• Participate in community engagement and outreach

Minimum Requirements

A Masters qualification or equivalent in the field of finance or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in facilitating learning in quantitative skills for finance and commerce within the Extended Curriculum Programme.
