Job Description
The Department of Psychology offers various modules at the undergraduate level and comprehensive broad-based Honours and Master’s degrees. The Department has a vibrant research culture and hosts public lectures and research events.
Responsibilities
- Contribution to departmental research initiatives and output.
- Teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Contribute to the Clinical/Counselling Psychology professional training programme.
- Research and clinical supervision at the Master’s level.
- Research supervision at Honours level.
- Course coordination, curriculum development, and associated administration.
Minimum Requirements
- Masters qualification (NQF9) with PhD in progress.
- Two (2) years’ lecturing experience.
- Knowledge of general psychology.
- Knowledge of clinical/counselling psychology.
- Experience in clinical/therapeutic supervision.
- Registration as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with the HPCSA.
