About the Role

As the HR Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s overarching business goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, effectively addressing grievances and fostering strong communication across all levels.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Support the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital within the organisation.
  • Implement and monitor HR systems, tactics, and procedures throughout the company.
  • Cultivate and maintain a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Manage a performance appraisal system designed to drive high performance and professional growth.
  • Administer the company’s pay plan and benefits program efficiently.
  • Assess training needs and oversee the implementation of effective training and development programs.
  • Provide insightful HR metrics and reports to management for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure full legal compliance with all South African labour laws and HR regulations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR executive role.
  • A people-oriented approach combined with a strong drive for results.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect and implement HR strategy, complemented by excellent leadership skills.
  • Outstanding active listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of South African labour law and current HR best practices.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
