HR Director
Our client, a prominent organization, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to lead their Human Resources team in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
About the Role
As the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the human resources landscape of the organization. Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to separation, ensuring efficiency and compliance at every stage. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR policies, processes, and initiatives that are strategically aligned with the organization’s goals. This position requires a proactive, innovative, and resourceful individual who can effectively address HR challenges and prioritize solutions that best serve the company’s needs. You will foster positive relationships across all levels of staff through strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding.
- Develop, implement, and refine HR policies, processes, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Proactively identify and address human resource challenges with innovative solutions.
- Prioritize HR solutions based on organizational needs and strategic goals.
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with staff at all levels.
- Demonstrate strong planning, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all HR operations.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational channels.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in human resources combined with extensive leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including significant management experience.
- Proven expertise in managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing effective HR policies.
- Resourcefulness and a proactive approach to solving HR challenges.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong abilities in planning, negotiation, and influencing stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Fluent proficiency in both French and English (non-negotiable).
