HR Administrator

Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for a new opportunity in Cape Town? FROGG Recruitment’s client is seeking a skilled HR Administrator with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments to join their team in Montague Gardens.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions. You’ll be responsible for administrative tasks, supporting recruitment processes, assisting with payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

What You’ll Earn

Salary: R15,000 – R22,000 per month (CTC)

Who We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • Completed Matric Certificate, along with a relevant HR qualification (Diploma or Degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR administration, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Solid understanding of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems is a definite advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive employee records, contracts, and other vital HR documentation.
  • Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including advertising vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Prepare and process payroll input, liaising with payroll service service providers as needed.
  • Administer employee benefits, manage leave requests, and track attendance records.
  • Support the implementation and adherence to company HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Generate various HR reports and statistics for management review.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with all relevant labour legislation and company policies.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for HR-related queries from line managers and employees.
  • Contribute to the coordination of training and development programs.
