Job Overview

The Department of Health is seeking a Financial Clerk to join their team at Steve Biko Academic Hospital.

Requirements

Candidates should have a Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Finance. Key competencies include knowledge of Accounting and Basic accounting system (BAS) SAP-HIS, understanding of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Computer literacy (Spreadsheet techniques), and numeracy.

Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to perform tasks such as raising patient invoices, making follow-ups on outstanding debts, writing off long outstanding untraceable debts, and performing reconciliations of accounts.
