Finance Business Partner

Our UK tax, accounting and compliance client is seeking a Finance Business Partner/Financial Controller for a2-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate should have UK experience, be a fully qualified accountant, and have worked with XERO.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have:

• 10+ years of senior finance experience in the UK market
• UK accounting experience and be a fully qualified accountant
• Experience with Xero
• Statutory accounting and corporation tax compliance experience
• Management accounts and reporting experience
• Finance business partnering experience
• Experience managing junior staff
• Professional services experience

Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations
• Managing treasury/cash flows
• Running the monthly payroll process
• Preparing management accounts and reports
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing and submitting annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Supervising and mentoring junior finance staff
• Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
• Supporting compliance with finance controls and procedures
• Supporting the business in implementing its financial strategy and objectives
