Position Summary
The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is seeking a Faculty Officer II to join the Faculty of Education: Dean’s Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks associated with the academic life cycle of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Job Description
The Faculty Officer II will be responsible for tasks related to marketing, enrolment, applications, registrations, assessment, monitoring progress, graduation, and alumni support. The University is obligated to assess all prospective employees against the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO).
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant diploma or certificate NQF level6 qualification.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in academic administration.
- Experience with Integrated Tertiary software (ITS), HEDA, Perceptive Content, Application Ranking System (ARS), MS access, and Oracle.
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Competencies and Behavioural Attributes
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Proven track record of working on projects and strong decision-making capability.
