The University of Cape Town (UCT) is seeking to appoint a highly competent and dynamic individual to the permanent position of Director: Treasury Services.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director: Treasury Services is a key member of the Finance Leadership team and strategic business partner to the university community.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• A minimum of 10 years recent and relevant experience working in Treasury or Financial Services
• At least 5 years of experience in a mid to senior management role with strategic level operations and decision making
• Proficiency in appropriate accounting and financial management practices
• Proficiency in Accounting (e.g. SAP/ERP) systems and IT skills to perform optimally
• Excellent interpersonal skills that reflect strategic thinking, diplomacy, and a collaborative approach to develop and maintain effective work relationships

The annual cost of employment, including benefits, is between R1 467 541 to R1 726 482.
