DEPUTY DIRECTOR: INFRASTRUCTURE NPO MONITORING

Job Summary

The Department of Social Development is seeking a Deputy Director to oversee Infrastructure NPO Monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and aligning national strategies, managing infrastructure policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

A3-year tertiary qualification in Built Environment and5 years’ middle management experience in Public-Sector portfolio management are required. A valid South African Driver’s License is also necessary. The ideal candidate should possess honesty, integrity, attention to detail, and technical orientation, as well as knowledge of PFMA, DoRA, Treasury regulations, and Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations.

Duties

The Deputy Director will be responsible for assessing and aligning national strategies, managing infrastructure policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Other duties include developing maintenance priority lists, managing procurement costs, and monitoring and reporting on projects.
