Remuneration

The salary package is as follows:

• Grade1: R972612 – R1,078,116 per annum (All-inclusive package)
• Grade2: R1,142,553 – R1,247,202 per annum (All-inclusive package)
• Grade3: R1,322,352 – R1,647,630 per annum (All-inclusive package)

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• BChD or equivalent qualification
• Registration with HPCSA as a Dentist in category independent practice
• At least3 years of experience post Community Service
• Postgraduate qualification in Endodontics
• Experience in teaching and training of students, and in Research (added advantages)

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching and training of students in Endodontics, Dental material, Basic restoration dentistry, and Peadodontics
• Supervising students in the clinical wards in the Department of Odontology
• Participating in research and publication thereof in the department
• Selective clinical duties as assigned by the Head of the Department

These positions are joint appointments between the Gauteng Department of Health and the University of Witwatersrand/University of Pretoria and/or Sefako Makgatho University.
