Job Summary

The Department of Health is seeking a qualified Dentist to join the SMU Oral Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oral health services, teaching, and training undergraduate dental students.

Requirements

Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dentist in Oral Medicine and Periodontology. Registration with the HPCSA as a Dentist. Current proof of registration with the HPCSA. Appropriate clinical experience as a Dentist in Oral Medicine & Periodontology after registration with HPCSA.

Duties

The incumbent will be responsible for providing oral health services, teaching, and training undergraduate dental students, maintaining physical and electronic records, and being willing to be developed in teaching and learning as well as in research.
